Thanks also for the super fun workout this morning - all the different activities made the time FLY - plus, the rope work was a really fun way to end!  I felt strong and empowered as I pulled... that's a priceless feeling.

p.s.  I was thinking about my beginnings with you and how a huge happy dance moment was losing inches around my waist and being able to wear jeans comfortably again.  Those were my "fat" jeans.  I've gone from being able to get into my fat jeans comfortably... to being able to wear my "skinny" jeans that had been collecting dust... to present day: where my skinny jeans are way too big!  I recently bought jeans that fit and the best part was being able to purchase them in a size I haven't worn in easily 20 years!  :)  And, I only bought one pair, because my plan is that they'll be too big for me soon.  Time will tell... :)  Thanks for making my transformation happen, Coop!

To-date, today's work out has been my favorite.

I really enjoyed the jump rope (as I have improved), the ball push ups, the dive bombs, and the TRX, it was just to damn sunny...and the plyometric jump slams were so much fun.

I am getting so much stronger, my stamina has improved. I have lost 18 lbs of body weight. Mostly unwanted fat!!!

"...I also wanted to say how much I look forward to each Bootcamp day.  You always have great fun routines that are always different and never boring. The changes in my body are very evident especially to my husband and that also makes me very happy.  I also can see the progress I have made in my strength, dexterity, muscle tone and surprisingly my balance.  I can feel my progress and this has been good for my self esteem.

I also wanted to say that I have a condition called "Frozen shoulders" and have had to deal with chronic pain for over 6 years. There is no cure for it but exercise.  Since I have been at Bootcamp I have been almost pain free.  I have found that exercising in your program is not only challenging it is gentle and I have not had any injury or flare up due to over use of my shoulders.

Happy Father's Day!! I want to thank you again for the opportunity to be in your class. It was a great experience to have you train and provide me techniques that I will be able to use in my future workouts. It definitely took a lot of discipline/focus for a person like me to really stick to a strict diet and a consistent workout routine. I knew if I wanted to see results I had to take your advice and stay away from carbs for awhile!! Ahhh!! But it surely did work! I thank you for all the support, education, and direction that you provided to get me to the goal that I feel like I have accomplished.

Over the past few weeks/months, since I've taken your class everyone has seen dramatic results from my weight change and most especially that I've gotten more toned than I've ever been over the past 6 months. I went from a almost size 6 to a size 2 maybe even a half inch smaller. I've lost about 6lbs over the last two 12 session classes, and I feel like I have more energy, motivation to workout and have healthier habits. The workouts were fun, challenging, and useful. Hi Stephen, 

Thanks so much! It's been really good for me to get back to going 3 times a week. Not only have I been needing the relief of work stress, I've been sleeping better, too.  

My siblings and I celebrated my mom's birthday this weekend and she was very happy to see my slimmer physique and happier attitude. Right before I decided to get a divorce, I was extremely depressed and 25 pounds heavier. I was a comfort eater and ice cream was my vice. My cholesterol was high for my age and I looked terrible.The great thing is that I have been maintaining my weight and it hasn't fluctuated in almost a year now. My cholesterol is down 40 points. My clothes fit me well and I have noticed I have more endurance and strength (which has helped me for the long 10-12 hour days at work.) I sleep better and I think I deal with stress better.

"Hi Stephen,

  Just got back from skiing for the weekend and wanted to let you know what a huge difference bootcamp made in my experience.  Normally, when I go (which is at best a couple of times a year) I can't make it very long on the hill without being completely worn out, legs about to fall off.  The day after skiing was even worse.  I'd be so sore in my legs, butt, and back, I could hardly walk. 

This trip was different.  I felt great, had a ton of energy, and my legs held up great.  We only left the mountain because my boyfriend had a big wipeout and was done for the day after that.  The next day, he was so sore and he's a really athletic guy.  I felt bad, but I wasn't sore at all. 

Just wanted to say thanks again.  Its these little things that make me realize that life can be so much more enjoyable and fulfilling when you put in the time and take care of yourself.  I'm still a pretty terrible skier but it was a blast to be able to keep up.

"...yesterday something cool happened, I borrowed a pair of jeans from a friend and they fit!!!!!!! This is someone who is one size smaller than me. I was friggin stoked! Then today I was wearing said jeans and put my belt on. I bought this belt when I started bootcamp and I was wearing it on the 3rd hole in the beginning. Today I got it on at the 7th hole! It's a little uncomfortably tight on the 7th, so I switched to the 6th hole, but nonetheless, I moved 3 holes and can even push that 4th hole if need be! I am so stoked!"

"This month marks one year that I've been training with you and though I have decided to move on I just wanted to say thank you so very much for getting my fitness and general well being on track. The Paleo concept was an eye opener for me and though I'm not able to strictly adhere I've drastically altered my diet to cut out all the breads, pastas, rice and of course sugars. Through it all I've lost 20 lbs. and gained muscle and most of all I've made the  commitment to maintaining a healthier lifestyle and fitness level.

I like your program very much and the main reason I'm not continuing is that the 5:45 start time is just too tough on me as I do a lot of my work at night.  The evening class conflicts with my work schedule.
